Dr. Sarah Ito, Optometrist (Board Certified - Glaucoma Certified - CRT Certified)

Dr. Ito is a therapeutic licensed optometrist who is trained in the treatment and management of visual conditions and eye diseases, specialty contact lenses, corneal refractive therapy, ocular preoperative evaluation and post-surgical care.  She is certified at the highest level possible, with the ability to treat glaucoma and other eye conditions with prescription medications.  Dr. Ito is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, which signifies that she is Board Certified in Optometry.  As of the beginning of 2012, only about 700 of the 40,000 optometrists in the United States are Board Certified.  She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, American Optometric Association Contact Lens Section, California Optometric Association and the Los Angeles County Optometric Society. She is enthusiastic about expanding her education and training, and keeps abreast of all new developments in eyecare and eyewear. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in 1993.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Occidental College with honors in 1989. She has also completed accredited programs at the California Institute of Technology, UCLA, UC Irvine, Korea University, Yonsei University (Korea), and Waseda University (Japan), where she spent her college junior year as an international student. She is an early adopter of new technology and is eager to find innovative solutions for her patients.

Karen, Optician (ABO Certified)

With over fifteen years of experience, Karen brings a strong sense of professionalism and knowledge to the Visionworks team.  She has a natural understanding for patients' needs, and thrives on making each individual experience not only enjoyable and thorough, but personalized and informative.  Along with her expertise in eyewear, Karen manages our insurance department to make sure that we provide our patients with excellent service and value.  

Antwanett, Optician (ABO Certified)

Antwanett is a sixteen year veteran of the optical field.  She is an expert in customer service and an excellent personal eyewear style consultant.  She has acquired a special skill in dispensing as a result of her experience with fashion forward, exclusive designs.  She loves working with people and loves being an optician.  Antwanett also manages our contact lens department.








Zoyla, Front Desk Concierge

When you visit our office, Zoyla will be the one to welcome you and to make certain that you are assisted right away.   She has prior experience as an optometric technician, as well as her current role in caring for our patients at the front desk.  Her hands-on experience with the medical side of optometry is very helpful in effective management of patient service issues particular to eye care.  She can research and answer any questions you may have about your visit to our office.   Zoyla manages our front office.

Diana, Optician (ABO Certified)

Diana has been in the eye care industry for over thirteen years.  She is experienced in dispensing digital high definition lenses and other cutting-edge lens technologies.  She keeps up with the latest trends in fashion eyewear and enjoys matching patients with their best look and style.  She enjoys furthering her optical education and applies her knowledge for the benefit of each patient.  Diana manages our optical department.

Arvin, Optician (ABO Certified)

Arvin has been in the optical field for over nine years.  As a licensed optician and lab technician, he has a strong background in all levels of manufacturing, from fabrication to management.  Although Arvin is in charge of our in-house lab, as well as our pretest clinic, he enjoys working with his peers and provides assistance whenever possible in all aspects of our practice.
